These are just what I'll need for rear-view mirror bead charms. I haven't put one to use yet so don't know actual sturdiness factor, but they feel/function sturdy enough for a lite load. It snaps closed and apart easily enough and I think it would break away with a strong tug on what ever is hanging from it. Which wouldn't be a bad thing if used, for instance, for an ID lanyard around someone's neck. Also appreciate the male/female parts being packed separately. Thanks for the cute smiley charm included in the package ;^)
