Love the separate link to put a quick access to a couple of keys. It is pretty sturdy. You can reinforce any weak links with craft store supplies and needle nose pliers. Just go to the jewelry making section and you'll see links that look similar to the ones you see in the product. One of my links broke (I feel compelled to hyperlink somewhere right there) anyway, a link in the chain broke, and it was a really simple, quick fix. Similarly, you can remove or add on anything you want that same way. I saw that someone here had asked if they could take off the coffee/tea mug and that's how to do it. Needle nose pliers unbending the wire will do it. Also, a child pulling hard on it. works. There are charms and jewels for sale at the craft store in the jewelry section. Bling it up. Maybe it will make you feel better about wearing a lanyard. I got this cute one to up the motivation to wear mine, and it's worked out really well.It's a little noisy when you walk, but I guess all lanyards are.
